I have a Powerflex 40p VFD setup to be controlled by comm port ( parameters 36, 38) with 22-comm-e card. It works fine when it is turned on but by 3rd start command it overwrites Commanded Freq with maximum value. It still runs and stops when PLC tells it but only at full speed.
Also parameter 12, control source when it starts is 52, and then changes to 12.
Parameter 14, Dig in status stays at all 0s.
I also noticed that in RSLOgix5000 V 20.01 when I open VFDs properties it says "Module Properties:Local:0" in title bar, and other VFDs in same project (all 40p) show "Module Properties:Local" without zero at the end.
It is run by 1769-L36ERM CPU. CPU and VFDs are connected to network switch.
I have yet to try a different Ethernet cable.
Other drives on this machine were doing it also but after downloading parameters to them they stopped doing that. This didn't help this VFD.
I can provide more info if needed.
