Need help locating inexpensive Allen Bradley Communication Hardware

Series B also supports firmware updates (could be useful when Windows Vista rolls around, who knows what will break).

I have only had one problem with my series A (I have a spare for s.a.l.e), and that was when someone set the DH speed to 230K.
A series does not do RIO, the B does (with the correct cable). That's the only other issue.

Hello, I have been using this card for 3 years now instead of the Ab model. I haven't had any connection issues with the SLC or PLC processors.

You can also get a version with the "ruggedized" cable (permanently attached).

Hmmm... I don't see why it wouldn't work, but I probably wouldn't have much use for it.
1. Trying to get these things(plc's) to talk properly is always entertaining enough without adding additional components(ie failure points) in the middle.
2. There isn't much that I'd have a desire to talk to from only 30 feet away, that being the current limit on bluetooth.
