use Simotion D ethernet port as gate to access S7-1500 plc program

Can we use a Simotion D455 ethernet port x127 as a gate, to access S7-1500 plc Tia Portal program ?
In the Simatic manager, we used Netpro to do the settings, and it worked well.
What is the procedure in the new Tia Portal?

Just network or connect the ports
And add a subnet to where your pg will connect.
It routes the same way Startdrive would route to drives

I also assume your 1500 and D455 are in the same project
