Hello to all, we have a E-designer E-600 screen that has a RS-422 connection hooked to our Mitsubishi Plc FXCU series and an Rs-232 connection that we used to use for connecting our laptop with a serial connection. However, since we had to update our e-designer software we are no longer able to connect through the screen to the Plc like we have in the past. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

I am unsure of the E-designer software.
If the screen is still communication to the PLC than you may need to check the configuration of your Comms in the software. is may be addrressing the wrong comm port to the screen. Could also be windows issue.

In E-Designer, in the project manager right click on Peripherals.
Click on Properties. Here you can set the RS232 port parameters, including transparent mode.
