You do this using Excel, not Cimplicity.
Excel needs to get the value from Cimplicity, generally through SQL, ODBC through simple CSV files.
Once that is done you can have Cimplicity start Excel with your spreadsheet and run it using a script.
Although I do not recall the details to make this all happen.
Hi Russ,
I know how to get the entire alarm, point log in excel using ODBC. But I don`t know how to get the selected points in excel through Cimplicity.Would I have to use Scripting?
Stupid question time. Are you trying to display the live value in Excel or are you trying to display the point value at a single point in time using Excel? If the latter then you can use the Query tools in Excel to create a specific (or general) query to display the data you want directly from the Cimplicity SQL database.
