FactoryTalk View Studio problems

Hello, I am having issues in factory talk view studio. I am trying to point studio at the PLC I am working with, but when I click on factorytalk linx -> communication setup, I am prompted with this screen, followed by the following 2 dialogue boxes. I have no problem in linx classic seeing my plc or panelview.

I have tried reinstalling several times, aside from that I am not sure which direction to go. I would greatly appreciate if anyone could point me towards success. Thanks in advance for your time.

Welcome to the forum. Can you try RSLinx classic, so that we can make sure you do have access to your PLC?

first, can u ping the plc?
second, can u see plc in the rslinx?
