I have a CompactLogix 5280 a I am trying to figure out which of the Ethernet ports are A and B. Not finding it in the manual and this is a new panel build

I assume you mean 5380. I'm not familiar with a 5280 model.

Also be aware these 2 ports are not identical in their capabilities.
