Hello.
Has anyone ran into an issue with HSC on 2080-LC20. It run a cut off press and every so often after resetting to 0 it does not count. Tried different way of resetting HSC but still sometimes HSC hangs up. have to power down PLC in order to reset it. See attached print out.
Any thoughts on this issue?

Honestly, those 800 series PLCs and the high speed functions don't really work well.

I tried using the HSC for an encoder and it was always glitchy. I ended up going with lower resolution encoders or creating my own pulse counter logic with limited success. Remember to configure the scan rate on the input terminal or designate it as high-speed. I can't recall exactly the terms they use in CCW for that.

The one this to watch is your controller scan rate with these 800s, too much code can creep their rates to the 1/2 - 1 1/2 second range too easily.
