All,

I am looking for a replacement blue indicator for an small
plc trainer box that has an AB micrologix 1000.

See picture.

I am sure many of you are have seen this type of PLC trainer
box. Can one tell me what type & size of blue replacement light
I need and where I can purchase it.

Thank you,

They look like typical ones from RS Components, perhaps a bit more detail will help for example you should have some idea of the diameter it only takes a ruler, what voltage I assume 24v, is it LED or bulb.
Try taking the top off probably a part number on the other ones this should give you some indication (no pun intended).

I have seen them before.... now if I can only remember where

Just kidding.... I built it, it was in a little better shape when I shipped it out :)

See here for parts https://www.plccable.com/build-your-own-trainer/

I don't have a mm rule.
The hole in the panel is about 5/8".
I think the light is about 5/8"

I went to a local electronic store & hobby stores.
They do not have any thing.

Thank you,

Here is what mine looks like on the inside now.

It surely does not look like the one shown in the website
picture with the neat wiring job.

Maybe the previous owner rewired it or something.
The unit looks somewhat abused.

Needs a little work.

See picture.

I don't know what this guy has against ordering from the mfr, but I've bought from him over the years and his prices have been fair.

Twice I've walked into a community college PLC lab and most of the batteries are dead. PLC gut got them to us quickly.

AB distributor wanted 2 to 4 weeks.

I agree it is not very good looking unit but sometimes is is more
fun to try to bring it back to life.

I think I am going to order one of those blue lights and see what
I can do.

Thank you,

Just stick another plate over the original & get some smaller 24V Led's & new switches do they really need to be 16mm surely you can source those. either from Amazon or Ebay.
