WinCC and Proficy Connection problem

Hello,

Since this morning I'm having an issue with a connection to a CPU from Proficy and WinCC. The connection is interrupting and connecting continously. This causes a bad visualisation view and unvalid reports.

This is what I see in WinCC


Here I was thinking, maybe the interruption is because of some tags that are reading or writing on unvalid adresses ?

But then I saw this:

So the problem must be a network problem I think ?

In proficy I can see that it's connecting and disconnecting...


I think I need to call the IT dept. to solve this one...

What do you guys think ?

Yeah, if you can ping a device only SOMETIMES, seems pretty likely that's a network problem not an application problem. If you can do a ping test from another PC and see the same issue, then that seems pretty solid that its a problem in the network vs a problem with the networking on the PC.
