UL/CSA symbols. JIC or IEC

We have a customer who wants us to produce drawings as per UL/CSA norms. Should I use JIC or IEC symbols?

UL and CSA are North American standards. JIC is more likely what they are looking for, and standards show diagrams more or less conforming to JIC drawings. However, nothing in either UL or CSA, as far as I know, dictates drafting standards.

Do what I did, I asked the customer for sample drawings.
he was happy to send them when we told him why.

only had to do the drawings 1 time.
