Schneider TSX3721001 connection issues

I am trying to get to the bottom of a fault for a client and need to get online to a Schneider TSX3721001.


I am able to get the unitelway driver connected but when it comes to the device it does not seem to be compleating the mirror test.


Is this the case of incorrect addressing? How can I get the address of the PLC there are not dip switches present.

Hi,

The cable is a TSXPCX3030

Software is pl7 v4.4 and unitelway driver v1.6.

I'm using a xp virtual machine as an os, it's recognised the cable.

The error message is no remote ACK in function net query

First of all I would upgrade to the latest pl7 software. If I remember correctly its v4.5 sp5
Dont need any new licenses for this.
In the unitelway setup in the drivers manager is the correct port selected for the instance of the cable?
Then is the correct instance number used in the x-way test?

I will investigate how to upgrade.



The correct port is activated as on com 3, as when I change to different com port the error "cannnot attach the socket" appears.


I think cable is ok as I am getting connected message.



please see below for details of my driver config.

as you can see it is connected however the mirror test fails when I click start, with the following error.

I should add, the plc is in run mode, the error light is off and the TER light is flashing I have the cable plugged into the TER port. There are no IO cards present in the PLC it is only the CPU.

I assume you are using Win XP Pro.
Did you force the virtual com port in the advanced unitel way parameters setting.?The force virtual com port must be checked as you are using a virtual machine.

Yea xp pro, the virtual com port is forced.

Ok Odly this seems to be working. at least I got it to connect to PLC once.



The ONLY thing that I done is I opened PL7 software and then closed it again..


I have managed to get the program downloaded and saved but I need to get online again to make changes.

I have managed to connect using tsxpcx1030 serial cable so I have to assume that the usb cable has a fault on it.
