RSLogix 5000 and Cognex In-Sight Explorer 5.9 - Will not Read/Write data

Thank you for any and all responses/help. I have an RSLogix 5000 v20 and a Cognex In-Sight v5.9 spreadsheet (8502P). I can not figure out how to make them read/write data between them. I can ping them both. I am using a WriteResultsBuffer/FormatOutputBuffer and ReadUserDataBuffer/FormatInputBuffer to no avail! How do I trigger the data to pass between the devices? Thank you again!
