FTView- Cognex InSight Display Control

It is installed as part of the Insight installer, I would recommend choosing to install the sample projects as well, very helpful for setting it up.

The controls themselves are usually located in C:\Program Files\Common Files\In-Sight\%version%

Thanks bro.

I found CvsInSightDisplay.ocx file and installed Display Control Sample project.

I faced another problem.

I run FactoryTalk View on my laptop which can see the barcode images.

I cant see the barcode image if I run on Panelview Plus 7(HMI).

The Cognex activex controls aren't installed on the Panelview.

Now, i'm not sure they CAN be, but you are probably going to need to reach out to Cognex and/or Rockwell to find out.

Offhand, I know that the Cognex VisionView software CAN be installed on a performance panelview 7, there's a knowledge base article I recall seeing once upon a time.

VisionView manual wrote that for Panelview 7 standard only.
Is it performance work as well?

I installed VisionView on the Panelview 7 performance but it alert message that "cant find an Entry Point 'StartDSSPDispatcher' in a PInvoke DLL 'CogPlatform.dll'."

In case anyone else still needs this, I was able to solve the "cant find an Entry Point 'StartDSSPDispatcher' in a PInvoke DLL 'CogPlatform.dll'." problem by using the x86 VisionView installer instead of the ARM.
