Looking at installing point io, with a 1734-AENTR communications adapter and ten 1734-IT2L modules. In IAB it installs a 1734-EP24DC after every three IT2L modules. I don't see why this is a necessity to install that many EP24DC modules. The 1734-IT2I draws 175mA, the 1734-AENTR can supply 1A max (750mA recommended) and the 1734-EP24DC can supply 1.3A max (1.0A recommended).

I have experienced the three 1734-IT2I (not L) limitation. You can add other modules with the three IT2Is per power supply, but a 4th one tends to break things. I haven't found an explanation, but Rockwell must know since they won't configure more than three.
