From 1769 sm2 Module To Honeywell Temprature Controller Via Modbus Communication

Dear all!
I am trying to Communicate with one temperature controller(Honeywell DC1040) using Miglogix1500&1769sm2 module via Modbus Communication(Write Single Coil Value).Any one Knows Help me.If possible send sample program.

I doubt the Honeywell DC1040 talks Modbus.

does not mention the word Modbus.

The DC 1000 series spec sheet here:

mentions an ASCII protocol, but not the Modbus protocol.

"Communications
RS232 or RS485 ASCII protocol is optionally available. Up to 30 DC1000 Controllers can be connected to a single host computer. The host computer can change the SP, monitor the PV, the output or change the configuration of the unit."

The Modbus RTU manual 51-52-25-66 that covers Honeywell controllers, recorders and actuators has a list of device manuals on page 1 (paper), pg 7 pdf, where the DC1000 series is conspicuously absent from the list.

It appears that the Honeywell web site does not have an ASCII communications manual for the DC1000.

What protocol are these registers for? Modbus RTU? A proprietary protocol?
