cp 343-1 lean hardware config in software

hi,
I m using the CPU314 (6ES7 314-1AG13-0AB0) and the cp card is CP-343-1 LEAN (6GK7 343-1CX00-0XE0).In this I m not using any I/O module near the CPU.
While hardware configuration I can’t able to configure the Ethernet connection between the cp card and the interface module IM 151(6ES7 151-1AA04-0AB0).
plz let me know how to configure the ethernet connection in the software part.

Hi.

1st. The CP343-1 LEAN can be used as a Profinet "device" (i.e. slave) not as a Profinet "controller" (i.e. master). So it cannot be setup to control an IM151-3 for example.

2nd. The IM151-1 is for Profibus DP, not ethernet.

The 314 CPU does not have a DP port, and the CP343-1 LEAN is for ethernet, besides that it cannot be a Profinet Controller. So with your present hardware you cannot connect an IM151-1.

I think the most obvious solution (out of several) is to use a CP342-5. This can be a Profibus DP master for the IM151-1 DP slave.

is there any way to configure the cpu 314 with IM-151.
and could u tell me which CP-CARD can i use for industrial ethernet.

The CP343-1 LEAN is already OK for "Industrial Ethernet" (aka IE).
For the S7-300 to be a ProfiNet Controller, you need a CP343-1 such as the 6GK7343-1EX30-0XE0. However, you cannot connect the Profibus IM151-1 to this ProfiNet controller !
