Hi to everybody. I just want to know on how I can make an archive file that will be automatically generated daily. It will be a great help if the file name consist of the date.
I'm using ProTool Pro and PC as the device.
Thanks for the help.

It can be accomplished by means of scripts.
There is a sample project which does exactly what you describe.
It logs values to a CSV file, and a new file is started every day. The filename consists in part of the date.
I am not at my regular PC at the moment, so if you need it in a hurry I suggest you search for it on Siemens support site.

Thinking again, I think that there is maybe also a possibility with the normal archiving function. With the socalled sequence archives, I think that there is a function to stop the current sequence archive and start the next. You could trigger this function with the scheduler.

thanks for your reply. Can you please provide me a sample of script on protool for that application so that I can study it. I'm also looking for your suggestion on using scheduler.
thank you very much.
