I have a brand new project and may need DeviceNet
Because nobody makes an Ethernet/IP mass flow controller
With the requirements we have.
Frustrating....

works good, I've used regular meter leads so often. the 773 would be awesome since its the same as 771, only has sourcing and simulating analog signals built in like the 789 has. so best of all worlds except being a meter in general.

if they would release a clamp attachment that could accurately read 4-20ma signals that we could plug into any ole meter, that would be a game changer for sure. maybe there is something and I just don't know.

Mathcad. It is now old and obsolete but it was like a drug that expanded my mind. It took the drudgery out of doing computations.

For IT type of work
Syncrhonize It@
Dupulicate Cleaner Pro
Everything

For modeling and new work
python, jupyterlab and jupyterhub

I have used this curve plotting tool to derive complicated math formulas.
No way I could do this on my own w/o this tool.

I use Mathcad 15.0 on almost a daily basis. Why do you consider it obsolete?

There are many screen capture programs. The one I like for videos is OBS studio.
Found this works just like mathcad https://smath.com/

Time tracking?

I am looking for software to track the time I spend on different tasks while on the computer, for cost purposes.

Requirements:

*FREE*
User friendly interface.
Works Offline.

Thanks

I haven't personally used it, but I've heard Toggl is nice

https://toggl.com/

I use Wrike, which is free for individuals and small groups. It has a timer built into all tasks as well, but I think is probably overkill for what you are looking for.

And since I pulled this thread back up, the best software I have recently been using is TrayStatus which was recommended to me in another thread by a member on this forum.
