T/C to pulse converter

Few years ago there was a product on the market that allowed
a thermocouple or an analog signal to be connected to a discrete input on a PLC. I can't remember the name of the Company that made these modules. I thought that they were bought out by TCP. I searched TCP's (GE's) web site but could find no mention of this product.
Anyways these modules would provide a pulse signal compatible with a discrete input on a PLC. The company also supplied a ladder software to work in conjunction with these modules.
I know that there are analog to pulse converters out there but this particular product was designed specifically to interface with
PLC's and by all accounts it worked quite well.
Does anyone have any info regarding this matter?
Thanks.

analog to discrete

Hi

I have some documentation (a fax printing) from 1998 describing "Pro-terminal" from Proface. The analog signal is converted to a 16 bit coded serial digital signal, connected to a PLC's discret input .

I got only 2 hit with google:
http://www.google.com/search?num=100&hl=en&lr=&ie=ISO-8859-1&as_qdr=all&q=+pro-terminal+proface

But I also saw this one while I was googling:
http://www.sensorpulse.com/Products/Analog_IO/MSP_Features.htm
http://www.sensorpulse.com/Support/Drivers/PLC Driver Menu.htm

regards

Before the MicroLogix family got analog inputs, A-B used to recommend SensorPulse and Calex brand converters.

SensorPulse had the "one-wire-serial" trick in ladder logic, and Calex makes "analog/frequency" converters for which you generally need a high-speed counter in Frequency mode.

I think I recall that TCP or GE gobbled up SensorPulse a few years ago. I haven't had much luck at all with GE's website; I had a customer buy their new Spectra overload with DeviceNet, and it took me three weeks to find an EDS file. GE Fanuc said it was GE Industrial's product, and GE Industrial said networks were all handled by Fanuc, and the local dealer said "DeviceNet ? Call Allen-Bradley and Ken Roach can explain it to you".

Thanks for your help

Yes, the Company I was looking for is the SensorPulse. They have what I am looking for, a "T/C to discrete PLC input" module.
I agree with Ken as far as GE's web site goes, there is no mention of SensorPulse. I could have sworn that TCP bought them out?
In any case they have their own web site www.sensorpulse.com
I think that they have some cool products.
I need to bring some T/C 's into a Slick and don't have the chassis space or the money to do the Analog input, this seems to be the ideal solution.
Thanks for your help
