Hello, I want to make touchscreen push buttons invisible based on certain conditions. When these conditions are true, these buttons will become invisible using the animation>>visibility feature of FactoryTalk Studio. The customer also wants the key assignments to these buttons to not work when invisible.

In short, does making an object invisible, using the animation>>visibility feature, disable the object's key assignment?

Yes.

When a FactoryTalk View object is made invisible with Animation, the touchscreen, mouse-click, and Function Key are all disabled.

(and welcome to the PLCTalk forum community !)
