Hello All
I'm trying to write a Dint from a Compact Logix 5069-L306ER and a 2080-LC20-20AWB.
I was able to get a CIP Data Table Read to function as expected.
However I am unable to get a CIP Data Table Write to work.
I'm seeing error

16#0005
Error Test:Class or instance not supported

Path is 3,192.168.1.12

Not sure what I'm missing and I'm not finding much information online.
I'd appreciate any advice or suggestions.
Thanks
Mrdegold

After I posted this I walked away. Which is when I came up with checking that my destination address in the Micro 820 was set as a Global Variable.
So I created a New Dint Tag in the Micro 820 made sure it was a
Global Variable.

Bingo MSG Write started working as exected.
Sorry for the trouble

Thanks for the followup !

The target tag's folder/scope is a classic mistake, which I have made myself numerous times.
